The Retro Character Tool has just received some updates!

• The sprites exported for RPG Maker were not optimized for the engine, which has been fixed in this new version! - Thanks to Tareen for reporting! (:
• A display bug caused a “head” to appear on top of all the hair when using the 4th hair layer. This has also been fixed!

I’ve been working on a new Retro Character Tool that will run in a 16:9 aspect ratio (720p) and feature more options than the current version. This new tool will also include a character face that matches the character sprite, allowing you to use it in your projects!

Note that this is a WIP, I’m still working on this tool and I still don’t have a ETA. (:
