Do the character animation include the item (axe, hoe, etc..) or are thy just the "swing" animation that we can overlay a tool on top of?
yes, the character is holding the tool, it's not one overlay.
Characters are super cute! Any plans for farming style? Like using a hoe or water can? (and maybe other farming assets? lol I love your stuff and am hoping to see these will pop up.)

Digging the new characters. Are you planning on building a new character creator? If so, will you integrate a face graphic creator with it as well?
I'm currently drawing these 1 by 1, I wanted to make them more detailed, fantasy ones are more retro, I'm not sure if I will make a generator but I will make new face graphics.
